The Uploads panel is where you bring your own media into the editor.
Use it when you want to add things like:
- logos
- screenshots
- product shots
- B-roll
- extra video clips
- audio files you want in the project
How to add media
- Open the Uploads panel in the editor.
- Add the file you want to use.
- Wait for it to appear in your uploaded assets.
- Place it into the video where it helps the story.
You usually do not need a complicated asset-management ritual here. Just add the file, place it where it helps, and move on.
When Uploads is worth using
- when you want branded visuals instead of generic filler
- when you want to show the product, not only talk about it
- when a clip needs an image, logo, or supporting visual to land better
- when you want more control over what appears on screen
Keep the video clean
Just because you can upload more assets does not mean every clip needs five logos, three screenshots, and a dramatic sticker flying in from the left.
Use Uploads when it improves clarity, branding, or storytelling.
If the visual does not make the video easier to understand or more convincing, it is probably decoration pretending to be strategy.
Fastest path to a useful result
- Upload only the media you actually plan to use.
- Add the most important visual first.
- Preview the scene.
- Keep or remove it based on whether it improves the clip.
That is how you keep the video useful instead of turning the editor into a junk drawer.
